A Trip to Napa

Recently, I went home to celebrate my 20th birthday with my best friend Danielle. Here is what happened.

On my first day back home, we went to a quince and a salsa dancing club. It was a lot of fun because it was Danielle’s first quince and the salsa dancing club was something new for both of us.

On our second day exploring my hometown, we attended my mom’s girls party she always hosts when I’m home. We just chilled the rest of the day and then watched movies in my backyard. We watched “Wine Country,” which is on Netflix. It takes place in Wine Country and is about middle-aged women going on a girl’s trip. I wanted to watch it since it takes place where I grew up. It’s pretty funny.

The next day, my friend Taylor joined Danielle, my mom, and me to go explore the beautiful Wine Country. Since none of us, besides my mom were 21, we had the opportunity to taste the finest grape juice there is while my mom got to try some different wines. This was the pre-21 experience, but I enjoyed every second of it. We got to explore two wineries, and it was probably my favorite day of the trip. Later that night, we went to watch movies with some of my friends from home.

The next day was our last day in Napa, but it was also my birthday. Danielle and I went shopping downtown and ate lunch. After we went swimming and hung out with some of my friends from home before we had a fancy dinner up the valley. Dinner was amazing RH in Yountville is so beautiful.

After dinner, we packed up and headed to San Francisco. In San Francisco we got lunch and walked around Golden Gate park.

Then we headed to the airport to head back to Southern California.

Forever Always,

Emily
